I just wanted to write to let you know how thrilled I am with the light I purchased from you recently. I have been searching for a long time for something that would be safe for my parrotlet, but was at a loss to actually find a fixture that would work. Your product is superb!

Just wanted to drop you an email letting you know I received the “Capitol” Universal model yesterday. Thank you for a great product. I was worried when I ordered it that it would be of inferior quality as online purchases can sometimes be. But it is just what I needed and wanted. For the cage, my African Grey, and my peace of mind knowing he is getting the proper lighting. I lived in Florida for many years in a very bright home. I moved by to NY fairly recently and he is in a room with much less light a lot of the time now. I have been noticing a difference in Strider’s plumage and his usual outgoing personality. However, in just one day, I see a difference in his behavior. I love it and thanks again. It arrived quickly and was packed well.

Great Product

Very pleased with your product. Live in a NYC apt. with north facing windows. I noticed after two weeks of moving here that my parrot was getting lethargic. Hooked up your light and his behavior changed visible, almost right way. Have many bird enthusiast friends, some of whom are visiting this week. I’ll give you the free advertising, and all of them a look at the literature you send with my delivery, absolutely. Great product, fair price, instant results.

Subject: Recent purchase at bird show-WOW

I have a one-year-old African Grey-”George”. He started feather plucking in April after what he perceived to be a traumatic nail trim. He has been naked except for head feathers he can’t reach. I have had him to the avian vet several times and nothing seemed to work. He is healthy except that he wouldn’t even let any down feathers stay on him.

For 4 days only now, he has had the light on top of his cage and I have been leaving it on for daytime. George is a different bird. I noticed an immediate difference. He likes the light. He has become much more active in his cage- playing with his TOYS and enjoying it, rather than obsessively picking his feathers. Today he is almost covered in a soft fluffy white down and he is not concentrating on pulling them out. He is eating more vigorously and has started to vocalize more. He seems very happy. The only difference is the light!

I have tried a full spectrum light before but was not able to position it over the cage to get optimum coverage and frankly, George just didn’t like the light. So I stopped using it. After seeing how easy and safely the universal light fastens onto our domed cage at the show, I bought one and fastened it as soon as I got home.

I have to attribute the drastic happy change to your light. It is too early to tell if George will allow himself to fully feather again-but even if he doesn’t we love him anyway-and seeing him so obviously happy means all the world to us. I recommend this light to anyone.

He is enjoying it so and of course, when George is happy-so am I.

A world of change for the better. I will keep you posted on the feather situation. I am so glad to have found you. Thank you for being at the bird show- I have seen your ads in Bird Talk magazine- but frankly probably would not have bought one had I not seen it first hand. On Saturday, April 28, 2007, we changed our blue and gold macaw’s cage. He went to a larger cage and in a different location in the room. That evening he was whimpering and not sleeping so we put a baby night light on for him. It helped some but not much. We purchased the Moonlight from you on the 29 of April and gave it a try. We placed it on top pf his cage next to his FeatherBrite light. Sunday evening when the moonlight went on he went to his perch and went to sleep. There was no more whimpering and restlessness at all.

Since the moonlight has been installed on his cage, we have noticed a change in Stanley. He seems to sleep better, eat better and his attitude is gone. We notice that he wakes up in a better mood and is so much easier to handle. His temperament is entirely different. I do believe that he is sleeping a lot better now with the moonlight. I would highly recommend the Moonlight to all bird owners along with the full spectrum lighting.

We will be purchasing several more for our other birds in the very near future.
